It all started in 2018…

Youth centres help provide much needed recreational and social environments as well as connections to support if needed. This is even more essential in areas where youth have limited access to resources, including transportation. YOMA always worked closely with former City Councillor Moffatt, brainstorming ideas to help see that YOMA could raise necessary operational funds each year. When the idea of a golf tournament came up, it seemed a natural fit and that is how Golf4Youth began. It is a fun, best ball tournament, with players who love to have fun on the course while supporting YOMA and the work we do.

Fast forward to 2024 Golf4Youth Classic….

Thanks to our energetic team of organizers who are already hard at work, YOMA is excited about this year’s event.

How you can participate

If you enjoy golfing, you can register yourself or a foursome. If golfing is not for you, consider joining us in the evening for the dinner.

There are a range of sponsorships are available for those interested. If you have ideas for partnerships not listed on the sponsorship package, we would love to hear from you. The Silent Auction is always popular. Our volunteers would be thrilled to pick up any donated items or gift certificates to add.

We will always welcome volunteers whether to help plan the event or on event day.
